a card price you can trust is the whole product.
Graded cards trade less often than coins, so one bad sale shouldn't move your position. Here is exactly how the price is made and what stops it being pushed around.

questions.
What is a perp?
A perpetual future is a contract that tracks a price with no expiry date. You can go long (profit if the price rises) or short (profit if it falls), with leverage. A small funding payment between longs and shorts keeps the contract close to the real price.
Do I own the card when I go long?
No. A perp tracks the card's price; it doesn't give you the card. If you want the actual slab, buy it on Collector Crypt, where it can be redeemed and shipped to you.
What is Hyperliquid?
A blockchain built for trading perpetual futures. It handles margin, order matching, fills and liquidations. Poke Perps is the interface and the card markets; Hyperliquid runs the exchange.
Where are my funds?
In your own Hyperliquid account. Poke Perps never takes custody. We earn a 0.05% builder fee on trades placed through the app, which you approve once.
What happens if a card market dies?
If liquidity drops below the listing floor, the market goes reduce-only for 72 hours and then settles every open position at the final mark price.
Why is leverage capped at 5x?
Card prices update less often than coin prices and can gap on a single sale. Lower leverage keeps a normal price move from wiping out positions. Long-tail cards are capped at 3x.
Who can use it?
Poke Perps is not available in restricted jurisdictions, including the United States. Check the laws where you live before trading.
